In an answer to "What will it take... a child getting run over" for the stop sign to be implemented...Wow what drama...now thats a stretch. Hopefully people will control both animals and children while crossing the road. If we had a leash law Fido would still be someones best friend. Of all of the things this County should focus on, this is probably not one of them. Can anyone please control themselves or their loved ones? You all know what to be aware of.. try to stop wasting valuable Police Patrol on such things. Has anyone noticed lately how large this county is and how little our Public Safety workers are being paid? They have their hands full just dealing with domestics and other sensitive issues in this county.
Please be responsible pet owners and put your beloved Fido on a leash, and be responsible parents and teach Little Johnny that crossing the road and not looking both ways is a bad thing to do. Then after you have solved what seems to be a very simple problem, by all means please come on up to Chester Gap and get into some real issues with our cute bears peering into our childrens bedroom windows, or how about the issues regarding driving 50 miles round trip to dump trash so the bears will stop peering into our windows. And guess what we are ok because we are told you live next to a forest therefore, you should expect visitors... I am ok with a reasonable answer, and therefore I do expect visitations from some furry friends; hence i plan to teach little Johnny not to let the bear in when he is standing at the back door with a hungry look on his face.
Get a grip privilaged people please. Lets rally around things that really matter in this county, like the lack of attention that children with special needs gets or the fact our high school students never get the thrill of playing football under the Friday Night Lights!!! Please for goodness sakes can everyone just slow down so we can focus on more realistic and important issues that do not concern the wealthy and privilaged folks in this county!!!
