'We just wanted things to be clear moving forward'

A number of people have been asking us about Ki Theatre and its change into Spark! We wanted it to be clear to everyone that neither Julie nor Paul are working with Ki or Spark! This has been so since February.

The programs we personally have been directing- Kid Pan Alley, Life Stories, the Rappahannock Story Project, and our performances will continue separately from Ki/Spark!

Kid Pan Alley has formed a new not-for-profit organization and will continue the work we have been doing with kids including the annual residency and concerts in Rappahannock. You can find out what we are doing at www.kidpanalley.org.

Julie is working on the Rappahannock Story Project. That project is a partnership with several local organizations including the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors.

We just wanted things to be clear moving forward. We wish the best to Spark!

As for Julie’s health, her cancer markers are heading in the right direction again. She did perform with Paul Reisler and A Thousand Questions at a recent concert at Lorin and Dietlinde Maazel’s Theatre House in Castleton. We’ve posted a video at http://youtube.com/watch?v=jmLkIyyD9WE so you can see how great she looks and sounds.

We want to thank this entire community for all your support for us and for the Ki Theatre and Kid Pan Alley programs over the last 22 years.
