Middle Street Gallery to hold holiday exhibit

The Middle Street Gallery, a 20-person, non-profit artists' cooperative, will exhibit holiday ornaments, artifacts and images by its members from Dec. 5 through Dec. 28.

The show, “Deck the Halls,” will feature original works of art especially appropriate for the holiday season. Many of them will be in the form of Christmas tree ornaments hanging from a tree in the gallery. All are for sale.

The artists will have a free reception, with refreshments, on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Patrons, the press and the public are cordially invited to meet the artists and see their works and enjoy hot apple cider and cookies.

The gallery is located next to The Inn at Little Washington. Hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for Dec. 26, when the gallery will be closed.

For more information, visit the Web site at www.middlestreetgallery.org or call the gallery on weekends at 540-675-3440.
