The Flint Hill Baptist Church invites the public to attend its annual Homecoming on Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. The guest speaker is Rev. Robert O. Goff with special music and entertainment by the RMA cadets. A covered dish luncheon will be held at the Flint Hill Fire Department following the service.
Woodville Baptist Church is having its Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 2-4 p.m.
Bring your children, too, as we celebrate God's harvest blessings. We will have crafts, games, food and fun. Positive costumes only and Biblical characters encouraged.
Maranatha Baptist Church, Amissville, is holding a fall revival from Sunday, Oct. 19 through Friday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m., with Evangelist Stacy Pearcy from Tennessee. Special singing each night, nursery provided. Sunday night service will start at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Payne invites everyone to attend.
Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church, Washington, is having its revival services from Monday, Oct. 20 through Sunday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Bobby Roberson, Walkertown, N.C., will preach Oct. 20 through Oct. 21 and Evangelist Jerry Whiteheart, Walkertown, N. C. will preach Oct. 22 through Oct. 26. Pastor John Burke invites everyone to attend. Special singing and nursery nightly.
Area youth are invited to showcase their talent in the First “The GOSPEL” Youth Talent Showcase on Friday, Oct. 24, at 7:30 p.m. at the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center, 15044 Ryland Chapel Rd., Rixeyville. Winners will be awarded trophies as determined by local area judges. The registration fee is $10/per entry and applications must be received by Oct. 15. F. T. Baptist Church will have its dedication service for a newly installed pipe organ on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. There will be an organ demonstration and several performers.
