Diane Stanley Poe, 57, of Amissville, died on Sept. 28 at Fauquier Hospital.

She was born in Washington, D.C., on Feb. 14, 1951, daughter of the late Fred and Grace Stanley.

Mrs. Poe was a member of Columbia Baptist Church in Falls Church.

She taught ESL in Fairfax, Prince William and more recently at Fauquier County public schools.

Mrs. Poe is survived by her husband of 38 years, David O. Poe and two sons, Nathan Stanley Poe and his wife Jennifer of Richmond and Brian Lawrence Poe of Charlottesville.

Also surviving are two brothers Danny, and his wife Gail, Stanley and David, and wife Lynda, Stanley both of Amissville. She was a dear grandmother and a loving aunt.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 2, from 6-9 p.m., at Moser Funeral Home.
